Abstract:

The authors say the readers that after the collapse of the USSR greater expansion into Russia started to implement nontraditional religious associations destructive direction. However, they often violated fundamental human rights, have threatened the family, the state and society, and in some cases have caused harm to human health and have threatened their lives. Here, special attention should Satanic religious associations, which, according to many researchers, pose the greatest danger. The article concludes that today no one in Russia has not systematically real opposition to religious associations destructive direction. Authors in article focuses on the reasons for this. Based on the survey of police officers and other law enforcement agencies describes the possibilities of application of law to counter religious crimes. Formulate measures to improve Russian legislation to curb dangerous to society activities of religious associations. In particular, we consider ways to improve the Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The authors note that today religious associations destructive orientation widely used in Russia and other countries of the former Soviet space. Therefore, for an effective danger to society religious groups need to develop cooperation and cooperation of specialists throughout the former USSR. This article aims to promote this process.
