Abstract:
The article considers the basic mechanisms of self-help of civil rights in a contractual relationship recognized by modern legal doctrine of the United States. Relevance of the article due with the fact that the study of methods of self-help which completely different with the methods Known to Russian law system allows to identify the advantages and disadvantages of such a system and use some of well-functioning for a long time mechanisms for the improvement of the law about self-help in Russia. The material based on a detailed analysis of existing in this area scientific concepts, which allows to highlight the most characteristic for the modern doctrine reasons for the classification of methods of self-help in the United States contract law
