CRIMES IN THE SPHERE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: CURRENT STATUS AND PROBLEMS OF COMBATING

The purpose of writing this article was the results of investigations of the crimes committed in the sphere of intellectual property. The article presents a brief analysis of the results of criminological characteristics of crime, criminal personality, the problematic issues of qualification of these crimes and improve the criminal law in the study area, as well as measures of precautionary nature. The author of the work concludes that criminological characteristics of crime in the sphere of intellectual property and the identity of the criminal revealed criminological relevant characteristics and particularities of this type of crime, which are so necessary to counteract them. The results of the study presented in the paper will be useful in the study of the modern state and the causal complex of crimes committed in the sphere of intellectual property, in the classification of crimes and the preparation of forms and methods of combating this type of crime.
