Annotation:
Task. The main task stood in this study was to link the current level of rocket and space technology development with its impact on the economy of the Russian Federation. It should be noted that current publicly available scientific studies of this issue which were reflected in the respective reports of states' governments (California, Florida, and others.) as well as the government agencies such as NASA and the Federal Administration of Civil Aviation are not fully applicable to the situation in russian industry, because 95 percent of it comes from the localization of production in the United States. In this regard, the work had to be very thorough in considering the process of production and operation of rocket and space technology and estimate its impact on the socio-economic situation of the country. Model. The study considered the enlarged chain of values which were generated during the production and operation, and on this basis the following conclusions were made that Russian machines which are created on the basis of foreign components generally meet the needs of major customers for as such an important indicator as the quality of the provided information, however dissatisfy them in quantitative terms. Conclusions. As a part of the article it was proposed to increase the volume of the purchased serial technique, as it meets the requirements of the consumers. Practical significance. The results of this study are reflected in now realizing Russian program in the form of increasing of the serial technique purchases. Possibilities for the later use. In the future, we plan to use these developments to estimate the impact of the process conducted by the Ministry of Finance State sequestration of public spending (by analogy with the reports given earlier of FAA and NASA). The social consequences. This work allows to evaluate the possible negative / positive effects of changes in public financing limits of space activities. This work is intended primarily for use when adjusting the activities of the Federal Space Program.
