Abstract:
Goal. The world economic system is currently passing through the recurrent period of transformation of the international relations environment. The main factor is globalization which has extended the potential of cross-border cooperation of governments, business communities and civil societies. As a result the meaning of the factors related to values and ideology in international business including the climate factor connected with changes in environment has seriously changed. Therefore studying the history of development of the process of structuring international cooperation in the course of the reinforcement of the role of ecological values is a pressing task. Area of research. The article examines reasons which have caused the emergence of such features as green economic growth, green economy, green bonds and sustainable development in the modern economic activity. It considers formation and evolvement of the trend of ecologization in chronological order. The article also specifies the role of specific international organizations in coordinating efforts of countries all over the world to achieve the objectives of sustainable development. Conclusion. Studying formation of global institutions the activity of which is aimed at alleviating the acute problem of climate change and living and economic environment of an individual allows the authors to shape a clear idea of the economic rationale of the green growth model. Value. The results of the analysis can be used in development of the policy regulating investment activity at the state level as well as in development of strategic plans of business unit development.
