Abstract:
The article analyzes the importance of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the enterprise management system and determined that the effective implementation of ICT helps to increase safety of operation of products, to reduce economic costs at all stages of product life cycle. In order to examine the practice of development ICT management and their implementation in the industry the authors analyzed the global experience, demonstrating a significant increase in the role of ICT in developing countries. As an example the authors investigated the features of the models of development IT-sector in India and South Korea. The great importance is paid to the analysis of ICT development in Russia and their connection with the management of competitiveness of the Russian economy particularly in the period of the financial and economic crisis and post-crisis development. The Russian Federation as an active participant in the global financial and information exchange was determined to be excluded from the global information space. In this regard, in order to develop ICT a number of policies and programs for their development like improving national competitiveness and creating a knowledge economy is implemented in the Russian Federation. In conclusion, the authors propose a number of approaches to improve the competitiveness of Russian high-tech industry companies using ICT
