Abstract:

Task. In conditions of protracted crisis in publishing and the future prospects of non-obviousness it was needed to find a tool to create a working strategic plan for the development of publishing industry in publishing organizations in particular. The method of investigation. This paper describes the methods and combined together foresight and road mapping, which effectively solve the problem of planning for the publishing industry in the transition to the new technological order and general uncertainty of market situation. Conclusions. In the case of foresight and road mapping publishing industry will be able to answer the question, how technology and society will develop, and in which direction to grow in the next ten to fifteen years in order to succeed in the market. Practical importance. In the future we plan to conduct a study of foresight and road mapping for a number of publishers to build a strategic plan for development organizations
