Raider capture of as a special kind of crisis in modern Russian conditions

Background: The purpose of this article is to study the raiders' activity in modern Russia, clarification of definition of a raider, a raider attack, raiding, identification of the main differences of raider attacks from hostile takeovers. Despite the fact that this type of activity appeared in Russia in the early 1990s, he has not lost its relevance in the present moment. Materials and methods: During the writing of this article were used as statistical materials, regulations, and the results of various studies. The author used a method of analysis of documents. Results: The author found out that the urgency of raider activity is confirmed by various data about new raids, as well as unfavorable business climate. Conclusion: The conclusion of the thesis is that without a clear definition of the concepts of corporate raids and hostile takeover/attack at the legislative level, as well as the introduction of penalties for such activities rather difficult to fight against this phenomenon. Moreover, a successful fight against corruption will also help, if not eradicate, significantly reduce the level of hostile takeovers in Russia.
