Abstract:
The article considers the problems of competitiveness of the Russian economy. Theoretical and methodological aspects of competition and competitiveness. The most developed approaches to the problem of competitiveness are also given in this article. A brief analysis of the modern state of the competitiveness of the Russian economy. The article considers advantages and disadvantages of the Russian economy in comparison with those of world leaders. Presents the most revealing in terms of reflecting the current trends statistics engineering industry as an example .Defined the major global development trends and their strategies taking into account the guidelines for the development of the Russian economy, investigated the role of the formation of an innovative structure.
