Abstract:
This article analyzes the legal regulation of the appointment of the public in the compositions of qualifying boards of judges of subjects of the Russian Federation (hereinafter - CCS). Selection criteria and procedure for appointing members of the public in the compositions of the RF subjects KKS currently differ, resulting in the regions have developed different approaches to the legal regulation of the public institution. The author emphasizes the need to improve existing legislation, made the relevant proposals.
