Abstract:
The article analyzes the results of studies of the effect of horizontal business groups on the stability of the operation of enterprises and the economy of the region. The study revealed a correlation between the number of participants in the business group and the costs of enterprises. This pattern is bearish in nature, which means the following: the growth of the size of the business group is a decrease in unit costs per unit of output. The influence of scale on the costs of activities in the economy has long been known, but for business groups - the production potential of integrated companies have properties that are not characteristic of individually functioning enterprises. Also, features of the unit cost of changes made in the conditions of the business groups and individual functioning enterprise, the empirical relationship between the number of participants in the business group and the volume of activity, respondents' assessment of the current state enterprises. The results showed a higher degree of attractiveness on the labor market of enterprises belonging to the business groups. The general conclusion of horizontal activities of business groups has a positive effect on the sustainability of enterprises and the economy of the region
