Abstract:
The article examines the approaches to the interpretation of the nature and content of such economic categories as the strategic potential of the enterprise. The relevance of this is determined by the fact that the modern market economy, characterized by autonomy and full responsibility for the consequences of their business activities, cause the objective necessity in determining its future trends, changes in the economic results, as well as identifying future opportunities and prospects based on the evaluation of its strategic potential. Modern enterprise needs to develop and implement their own economic policies as a long-term plan, in accordance with current legislation governing business rules, and taking into account the prevailing market conditions. To do this, knowledge of existing strategic potential of the enterprise to achieve its goals and tactical objectives.
