Annotation:
An important component of the total population change is migration. The problem of foreign labor migration has become urgent in Russia in the late 80's - early 90's, when the practice of encouraging more active in Russia of foreign labor. It attracts mainly for projects and contracts concluded on the basis of intergovernmental agreements and a long-term and sectoral integration projects. Thus existed at that time the legal framework is quite consistent nature and objectives of the process. At present, the focus of the authorities focused on the problem of illegal immigration. Migration processes play an important role in the socio-economic and demographic development of the Russian Federation. Over the past two decades, net migration to a large extent compensated for more than half natural wastage. According to calculations by the Federal State Statistics Service of the perspective of the population by 2030 (high and medium variant), which takes into account the results of the population census and demographic dynamics in recent years, the population at the beginning of 2025 will be 142.8 - 145.6 million.
